Four-wheel electric scooters launched at Makkah Haram

Sheikh Abdurahman Al-Sudais, head of the Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques, launched four-wheel electric scooters, specially designed for the elderly and physically challenged pilgrims and worshippers at the Grand Mosque in Makkah. Muslih Al-Mehmadi, director of the department for wheelchairs at the Grand Mosque, said these scooters, weighing 250 kg, have been approved by the Saudi Standards, Quality and Metrology Organization and the Saudi Food and Drug Authority.
